Beautiful blue color, love the satin skirt, not crazy about the attached top but with the matching 3/4 sleeve jacket, very pretty. Having said that, had to cut several exposed threads from shoulder seam, dress top and jacket material does not match the advertised price in my opinion, but it worked for a State DAR conference!18W fit me perfectly and hid a big tummy area. (5/7" tall and 200 lbs.) However, the lace was a bit scratchy and fit high on my neck in back & sides. The jacket did not hang well from the shoulders on me. The color is a subdued, somewhat dark "dusty" teal color. I think that was due to the chiffon overskirt. Pretty but not as bright as appears in the photo on my computer. I appreciated that I could find a brand of apparel that I am familiar with, and didn’t have to go shopping to look for it. I’ve put on weight in the last few years ?, but I still wanted to look nice and feel classy. Alex Evenings has always been there to assist with that, so this was no different. The fit was nice and comfortable too.My issue with this dress is the color. It is way darker than the picture online. I’m having a hard time finding a true ivory dress. This dress is a very dark taupe. I’m ordering something else before I return this. And it’s extremely long. I’m 5’7” and I’d have to have it pulled up at the straps so I don’t trip.I love the dress. It’s what I buried my mom in and she looked fabulous in itLove this dress and will be wearing it to my daughters wedding in July-sleeves are loose and don't show my flabby arms- bodice has lace overlay which hides my protruding abdomen-color is more lilac than ice orchid-'I love it and even though I'm overweight it doesn't matter because this dress is so flattering- it needs to be altered as straps too long and so is hem- I'm 5'0".'I got the 24w and I'm happy with fit! Would absolutely recommend this to a friend.
