I was so happy to finally get this coat! I originally ordered it in mid October for my Birthday and it got lost.I am 5' 5" 125 pounds and I ordered a small. I like that the coat is slimming down toward the waist and flares out a little bit at the hips and legs. The sleeves are a little bit too long, but other than that it is a great coat!The only thing I don’t like are the buttons. Pretty cheap looking and not secure on coatAt least for me. Shoulders are too broad and just too big. The rest is good, but because of disproportional fit on me I probably will give to somebody with differenet body structure.I am kinda sad that I chose on the more expensive side, hoping it will be a gift to myself before travel.It was so scary buying a coat unseen, especially since I've never tried this brand, but five days before I needed a coat for traveling to an evening wedding in New York, I was desperate! Not only was it on time, it came a day early! I've been searching for a coat like this for weeks. I wanted something navy blue, not too bulky/heavy but still warm, lined, mid-calf and one I can wear with either jeans or cocktail attire. Bingo! I'm 5'8", 145 lbs. and ordered the large. I was a little nervous as I usually go up a size for wearing sweaters underneath, but this coat fits like a glove. It glides on and has a cool (temperature-wise) lining, the waist fits perfectly. I'm not that small-waisted, but the cut makes it look like I am! The shoulders and sleeves fit perfectly and are as shown in the picture. I don't like my sleeves short, and these meet my hands at the perfect spot. If my neck is bare, the collar can be just a tad itchy (not too badly as it's a wood blend, not pure wool), but I usually wear a scarf, turtleneck or collared shirt in the winter anyway. And best of all, it's not a heavy, bulky coat, which is perfect for travel.Beautiful coat and look. I purchased the navy and it’s just as pictured. I’m 5’9 and 154 and it’s hard to find a coat with long sleeve length. This was perfect in medium. The reason I gave this four stars, was for the cheap looking buttons. One fell off as soon as I tried it. But this is an easy fix. I will remove them and purchase nicer looking buttons to sew on. It’s a beautiful coat and fits perfectly so I will be keeping it!This coat is well made and very flattering. I ordered the XL and have a little extra room in it which I like in case I wear a bulky sweater under it. I am 5'9 and about 170 pounds. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase!UPDATE: I've had this coat since March 2014 and and this update is written January 2016. This coat is still going strong! I have not had to replace any of the buttons, and it is not pilling at all. This is still my go-to coat in the winter. I'm an attorney and this goes great over a skirt suit or pantsuit, but I can still dress it down with riding boots and jeans. It is a little longer on me than it appears in the picture (and I'm tall). Also, the XL gives me some room so putting my suit or sweater under is still comfortable. My measurements are 38-30-44. I still love this coat!I had never bought a coat online before, but this was such a great deal I thought I'd give it a try. The coat is beautiful, very nice fabric and high quality (at least so far, I've only worn it once), and nice and warm. I chose it because it seemed like a very versatile coat, dressy but also good for casual, and that's exactly what I got. It does run a bit small. I got the medium, which is what I would normally get, and it's just a tad bit tight across the chest and shoulders. I have a pretty slim build, so I picked the medium after seeing that other reviews said it ran a bit small. It still works for me, I just won't be able to wear some of my bulkier sweaters under it. I would totally buy it again.It’s an attractive coat and it fits true to size. Only thing it picks up everything it comes in contact with and a lint roller is not enough. I have to use threaded packing tape to get it ready for night out, it’s more high maintenance than I am. It looks great so worth the the effort. Yes I am vain and know it and proud.
