I'm from Iowa (from a small town with livestock that needed to have their ice broke to help water them every day the weather was cold) I moved to Texas a few years back. I needed an "in between" coat that could handle both weather types as i try to vacation back home each year but I also wanted to still look corporate appropriate. That was a tall order to fill! This coat is PERFECT!!!!! It's medium heavy, soft exterior but can handle rain or snow, with a silky inner lining, the arms aren't tight either. I'd buy this again in all the colors if I could lolI typically like the fit in 3XL, I weight 279, and my height is 5'8". I got the 3XL and it fits great!!!
